Attorney Darren R. Cook obtained his Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Oklahoma in 1996. Mr. Cook is admitted to practice in numerous state and federal courts including:

 

     All Oklahoma state courts

     All Texas state courts

     The U.S. District Court for the Western District of Oklahoma

     The U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Oklahoma

     The U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Oklahoma

     The U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas

     The U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas

     The U.S. District Court of Colorado, and

     The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit

 

Mr. Cook is a 2018 graduate of the prestigious Trial Lawyers College in Dubois, Wyoming.

Mr. Cook has worked on many high profile cases, including a successful $37,000,000.00 class action judgment in the case of Fankhouser v. XTO Energy, Inc., Case No. CIV-07-798-L (W.D. Okla.)

Swift v. Service Chemical, Inc., 2013 OK CIV APP 88, 310 P.3d 1127 (Published opinion- Successful defense of Pennsylvania chemical supplier).

Mr. Cook successfully represented nine abused children in a lawsuit against the State of Oklahoma and the Department of Human Services.  Read the 2019 Tulsa World article for more information here.

Mr. Cook currently serves on several boards including the Oklahoma Water Resources Board, the Grand Gateway Economic Development Association, the Grove Chamber of Commerce and the Grove Rotary Club.


Mr. Cook proudly serves as the City Attorney and Director of Economic Development for the city of Grove Oklahoma.
